1. SNAP/EBT (formerly known as food stamps)
2. WIC (2 types of checks that can be spent on local veggies)
3. SeniorShare (Maine’s innovative program uses the CSA model)
• Gather ideas for promoting your market or farm stand to recipients of federal nutrition benefits
• Meet with chambers of commerce, Healthy Maine Partnerships, SNAP and WIC staff and others to discuss potential for partnerships
